Sky Sports’ Indy Racing League in 2005

Pit Lane Productions will continue to produce Sky Sports’ coverage of the Indy Racing League in 2005. Executive Producer Andrew Marriott has headed the production of the series since its very first season some ten years ago.

He commented “ We should have a great season coming up with Dan Wheldon defending his title and everyone using the same engine , making a more level playing field. As well as Dan, I expect to see Dario Franchitti back in the winners circle.”

The 14 race series includes the Indianapolis 500, won last year by Wheldon , and the majority of the races will be shown live on Sky Sports. Keith Huewen will continue to present the studio based presentation and will joined by a roster of guests each with expert knowledge of the series.

The  opening round is at the Homestead – Miami oval on March 26th.
